Back in June, iOS hacker iH8sn0w (the main man behind the ubër-popular Sn0wbreeze iPhone / iPad jailbreak tool) released a new utility called iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper. This new tool has capability to save or dump SHSH blobs for present iOS version on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch as well as create a pre-signed IPSW file which can be restored on iOS devices via iTunes. Well, today, iH8sn0w has updated his iFaith tool bringing it to version number 1.4 which brings support for saving SHSH blobs of iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 firmware as long as you are currently running that firmware on your iOS device. Yes, iFaith will save the SHSH blobs of your device even if Apple has already stopped singing that firmware.
